“A small person with a huge heart, and a wonderful way of making the world brighter.”

Kids with rare cancers deserve more than hope alone.

They deserve research, answers and treatments designed for them.

Rare

Sarcomas are a diverse group of cancers, making research complex and collaboration essential.

As they affect relatively few people, there is often limited commercial incentive for pharmaceutical companies to invest in developing new treatments. This makes support from people like you vital to driving the breakthroughs these children desperately need.

Urgent

For too many children with rare cancers, treatment options are limited and survival rates remain unacceptably low.

Families need more effective treatments, fewer devastating side effects and the chance for more time together. These children cannot afford to wait - we need to accelerate research and improve outcomes now.

Possible

There is real reason for hope.

A remarkable community of researchers has dedicated their professional lives to understanding these cancers and creating better treatments for children. With focused funding, promising ideas can become meaningful breakthroughs. Help us give these researchers the support they need to change, and save, young lives.

The initial goal of the Beatrix Victoria Banks Sarcoma Research Fund is to contribute $100,000 each year for the next three years to the Sarcoma Therapy Accelerator at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne.

Having seen firsthand the commitment of this remarkable team and the work they are pursuing, we are enormously excited by its potential. We believe this partnership represents a powerful opportunity to accelerate meaningful progress and improve the lives of children with sarcoma in the years ahead.
